NatWest — NatWest Mission Impossible

all things with DCM: When NatWest security steals the show

NatWest wanted to talk about digital banking security. The challenge? Most banking ads about fraud feel about as entertaining as resetting your password for the fifth time.

So instead of warning people about online threats, all things helped turn safety and security into something audiences would actually lean into.

Working with DCM Studios, we conceived and produced a cinema campaign inspired by three blockbuster releases: Ocean’s 8, Mission: Impossible Fallout and First Man. Across three bespoke film-led executions, plus supporting 30″ creative, we used the worlds of heists, espionage and high-stakes missions to bring NatWest’s security features to life with cinematic flair and a knowing wink.

Fingerprint log-ins. Facial recognition. Fraud alerts. Suddenly, bank security felt less functional… and far more mission critical.

Each execution was carefully crafted to mirror the tone and visual language of the films themselves, creating contextually relevant cinema spots that felt like part of the main feature, rather than the interruption before it.

And the results were worth protecting. Ad recall for the contextual Silver Spots was 36% higher than standard in-reel placements. Awareness climbed, consideration increased by 18%, and perceptions of NatWest as an innovative, digitally-led bank saw significant uplift.

all things: creating blockbuster impact.
